Title of Session or Presentation: Launching the CSMFO Emerging Leaders Network: Developing Tomorrow’s Finance Leaders Description of Session: Join us for the kickoff meeting of the new CSMFO Leadership Group, a statewide forum for staff-level finance and accounting professionals looking to grow their leadership skills and advance in their municipal careers. This virtual session will feature a Hot Topic Presentation from Heather Rowden of Krisch CPAs, who brings extensive experience in municipal finance, policy implementation, and department leadership. Heather previously served as the Finance & Administrative Services Director/Treasurer for the City of Albany, CA, and has held several roles in local and state government finance. She holds both Certified California Municipal Treasurer and Certified Government Investment Professional designations. For this session, Heather will lead an interactive discussion on one of three timely topics selected by participants:
