Speaker Bio:

Ira Summer has decades of experience advising public agencies across the United States on issues related to labor negotiations, retirement plans and health care programs, and is a frequent speaker on these topics at conferences across the United States. He served as a member of the Legislative Committee of California’s State Association of County Retirement Systems, the American Academy of Actuaries Task Force on Public Plans and the Editorial Committee of the Florida Public Pension Trustee Association.
