Central Valley Chapter Roundup

Tuesday, October 1, 2024

On August 8th, the CSMFO Central Valley Chapter held their summer meeting at Lathrop-Manteca Fire Station 35. The meeting began at 11:30am with lunch generously sponsored by Southland.

After lunch, Andrew Roth of The Pun Group spoke on the upcoming governmental GAAP updates that will need to be implemented in future fiscal years. Attendees were able to earn 1 CPE for their education and participation. Following the GAAP updates, attendees were able to network with their fellow chapter members.

The meeting was attended by 45 members and was the chapter’s highest attended meeting of the year. The Central Valley’s next chapter meeting is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 21st. Save the date for a discussion on impact fees with Allison Bouley from Harris and Associates.
