CSMFO Election Results

Thank you to each of whom participated in the 2024 CSMFO Election – the results are in – Please congratulate and welcome our newest board members who will begin serving on January 1 for the calendar years 2025-2027.  All candidates are committed to the mission and vision of CSMFO. Here is a recap of their candidate statements. 

President Elect – Karla Romero, Coachella Valley Water District 

  • Expand the volunteer leadership to bring diverse perspectives
  • Focus on succession planning through continuous education and professional development for the members
  • Celebrating the diversity of CSMFO and the government agencies its members serve

Board Member North – Alberto Preciado, City of Citrus Height 

  • Maintain high quality programming from education content to cohorts & mentorships
  • Address recruiting challenges through from university to city hall (student outreach)
  • Unified coordination between leadership committees

Board Member South- Kyle Johnson, City of Glendora 

  • Outreach to members at all career stages 
  • Constant evaluation and learning to continue organization’s ability to adapt and evolve with membership
  • Create clear paths for greater involvement in CSMFO
