Board Highlights

Before heading out for holiday break, the CSMFO Board of Directors met virtually on December 19 to discuss CSMFO business and receive updates from committees and chapters. The Action taken included the Board’s approval of agreements to continue with our valued educational instructors and the adoption of important organizational matters including the 2025 annual budget and new strategic plan.    The strategic plan affirms CSMFO’s goals of organizational sustainability, professional development, and member engagement and sets out new objectives that will focus on long-term financial planning, refining roles and responsibilities, and enhancing CSMFO programs and training with its members.

The January 16 Virtual Board meeting began with welcoming our new Board Members Kyle Johnson, Alberto Preciado, and President-Elect Karla Romero. The Board also formally welcomed and fully onboarded our new association management company, Impact Association Management. We are excited to have them play an active role in supporting CSMFO’s mission and enhancing the delivery of our programs, communications, and courses. The Impact team will be present at our 2025 Annual Conference in San Jose, and they look forward to welcoming conference attendees at the registration booth.
