In this episode, host Rich Lee sits down with CSMFO President Jennifer Wakeman on the eve of the 2025 CSMFO Conference in San Jose. In addition to her role with CSMFO, she was recently appointed as the first Finance Director for the City of San Ramon. Jennifer talks about the value of participating in CSMFO leadership and encourages listeners to step off the sidelines and get involved with the CSMFO community. She and Rich also discuss the importance of recruiting students into the public finance profession.
