Thank You, 2024 Budget Reviewers!

CSMFO’ s Recognition Committee would like to express its deepest gratitude to everyone who volunteered to review 126 award submissions between September 2024 and January 2025. For the Budget Award Program, the Recognition Committee assigns budgets among the committee and volunteer reviewers to determine if they meet the award criteria. 

Volunteer reviewers’ time, effort, and contributions are critically important in helping the Recognition Committee and CSMFO to encourage governments to improve the quality of budget documents. In addition to the potential for budget quality improvements, reviewers are helping to encourage governments to improve the transparency of budget documents, which is one of CSMFO’s Guiding Values.
