CSMFO Webinar

Best Practices for Identifying and Preventing Cybercrime

a CSMFO webinar

10:00-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2026

As the business landscape evolves, so too does the growing cyberthreat environment.  In 2024, cybercrime losses increased by 33% from the previous year, with losses exceeding $16.6 billion.  Business email compromise (BEC), where cybercriminals use a hacked or fake account that looks legitimate to trick the target into sending funds, triggered almost three billion dollars in reported losses.  Additionally, with check information, cybercriminals can transfer funds out of accounts and steal identities to claim tax refunds.  In this presentation, we will discuss the current threat landscape and cybersecurity best practices, and how to protect your organization.

Advance registration is required for this no-cost webinar.
