The City of Pittsburg, CA seeks an Assistant Director of Finance with a strong understanding of municipal finance/governmental accounting and budgeting, payroll, utility billing as well as complex financial analysis related to preparing and monitoring the citywide budget. The candidates will have demonstrated experience implementing technology to enhance operations and the customer experience. About the Finance Department

The Finance Department is staffed by 19 FTEs and is responsible for accounting operations, payroll, utility billing, budget, financial reporting, debt issuance and management and investments for all the City departments and agencies (including the Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency, Pittsburg Power Company and Housing Authority) and Risk Management.
